Standing Up Together
We all know that some of the ways we have historically tackled the issues of racism amongst other social issues has not worked. We have always not worked well together. It is therefore imperative that this time, in order to enforce and see the significant change we need as a community we must journey together.
This is why we are a part of Basingstoke’s Cultural Diversity Consortium. Our working calendar means we can engage with our community on various levels while still delivering our message of racial equality.
Africa Day George Floyd Day
Africa Day was commemorated with a series of videos educating the community about the various countries that make up the continent.
There was also a fun quiz in town with some shoppers to test their knowledge about the continent and some facts.
